In New Super Mario Bros. U, Mario, Luigi and Toad are joined by a new character – you! Run, leap and stomp through a 2D side-scrolling Mario adventure, and play as your Mii in extra modes like Challenge and Coin Battle. Explore a giant world map full of brand new courses, and experience ways to play that are only possible on Wii U.Also included is the add-on content pack New Super Luigi U, in which you leap into 82 challenging new courses as Luigi, but be quick, as you only have a short time to clear each one!

Swoop through levels and cling to walls when Mario transforms into Flying Squirrel Mario, or gently float through the air while hanging onto Tiny Balloon Yoshi.

An extra player can jump into the action using the new Boost mode, using the Wii U GamePad to create platforms out of thin air to help others navigate tricky stages or access hidden or hard-to-reach items.

New Super Luigi U, a massive add-on for New Super Mario Bros. U, features Luigi. All 82 courses from New Super Mario Bros. U have been retooled with new challenging designs and features for this adventure.

Never underestimate a bad guy’s imagination. Having failed at kidnapping Princess Peach so many times, Bowser has a brainwave – capture the whole of Peach’s Castle!

As part of this dastardly plan, Mario, Luigi and friends are kicked out of the castle and flung to the farthest reaches of the kingdom.

They’ll have to cross oceans, deserts, swamps and snow fields to make their way back to Peach’s Castle, but if anyone can do it, they can! It’s time to put an end to Bowser’s plan, and take that castle back!

On top of a main story filled with imaginative and challenging courses, New Super Mario Bros. U features brand new game modes to entertain and enthral players of all skill levels, either alone or together! Best of all, in these new modes you can step into the action by playing as your Mii!
